This inspection is done to AS3660.2-2010, which is a visual inspection looking for and reporting on termites only. This inspection takes approximately 30-40 minutes and comes with a 8-9 page report based on all of our findings. This inspection is typically carried out on an annual basis after a termite barrier has been installed and is NOT recommended as a pre-purchase inspection.
This inspection is done in accordance with Australian Standards 4349.3-2010, whick includes inspecting and reporting on termites, borers of seasoned timber and fungal decay. This standard is a visual only inspection and generally takes between 1-2 hours depending on how much timber is on the property. Additionally, we will to the best of our ability report on ventilation, drainage and any moisture issues within the home, our will receive a full detailed report of approximately 10-15 pages which includes all of the issues found during the inspection. As an added bonus, we will also include a detailed list of non-chemical recommendations for things ou can do in and around the home to reduce your chance of a future termite attack. This report is tailored specific to the property inspected.
This inspection is done to the highest of standards including everything within the Gold Package above as well as, sound testing and moisture testing every accessible timber within the home. We will also inspect the timber for chemical delignification. This level of inspection takes between 4-8 hours to complete depending on how much timber there is within the property. You will receive a full detailed report including digital photographs to aid in the explanation of our findings as well as to show you in greater detail the significance of any activity and/or damage on the property.
